Back to Poker Analyzer

Installing on macOS

Poker Analyzer is signed by Dulo, Inc. and safe to run. Because it's distributed directly from our site (not the App Store), macOS asks you to confirm the first launch. It takes about 20 seconds — here's how.

Download for macOS Free · macOS 11+

Latest version: 1.0.2

  1. Open the downloaded file

    Double-click PokerAnalyzer-macOS.dmg in your Downloads.

  2. Drag it to Applications

In the window that opens, drag the Poker Analyzer icon onto the Applications folder shortcut.

  3. Open it the first time

Open Poker Analyzer from Applications. macOS may say it "could not verify" the app — that's expected for direct downloads. Don't worry, just do this once:

Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the message about Poker Analyzer, and click "Open Anyway", then confirm.

On older macOS you can instead right-click (or Control-click) the app → Open → Open.

  4. That's it

macOS remembers your choice — every launch after this opens normally.

Advanced / Terminal option: if you prefer, you can clear the download quarantine flag in one command instead of using the prompt:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Poker Analyzer.app"

Is this safe? Yes. The app is code-signed with our Apple Developer ID (Dulo, Inc.), so macOS can confirm it hasn't been tampered with since we built it. The extra prompt appears only because the build isn't notarized yet — a step we add when our developer account renews. Questions? [email protected].
